Hole In The Ellers Reviews

Yvonne
A very good location with magnificent views. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. Owners are very friendly. Plenty of walks and places to visit. We visited Goathland, Pickering, Thornton le Dale, Staithes and Whitby amongst others. Staithes is well worth the steep incline down and up and of course at Whitby you just have to have Fish and Chips! Would thoroughly recommend this property.
Charles
Lovely house in a lovely location. Very well equipped, clean and warm. Is well placed for walks on the moors and close to Whitby .The owners are very friendly and welcoming . The views from the house are amazing and star gazing is a must.
Mark
Hole in the Ellers is a lovely, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, spacious farmhouse with wonderful views over Eskdale. The owners were very helpful, even bringing their own microwave down when ours was on the blink, bless them. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and the grandkids had fantastic fun in the enclosed garden among the farmer's fields. Just sitting out on the patio looking across the dale was so relaxing! I'm pretty sure we'll be back. It IS at the end of a very long, ribbed concrete farm track which was a bit of a surprise, but by the end of the week everyone had got used to it and we quite enjoyed counting the panicked rabbits as we rattled through to the large car parking area next to the house.
Chris
This is set in such a quiet location. You are truly at one with nature. There's a lot of room in and out. Everything works and the owners are helpful, friendly and never intrusive.
Judith
The best cottage we have ever rented. Fantastic views. A lot of thought has gone into providing amenities of a very high standard.
Gillian
We loved the peace and tranquility of this beautiful, well equipped cottage. The views from the property are amazing. The cottage is large and spacious but it is also very cosy, comfortable and warm.
