Explorers Retreat Reviews

Henry
Cottage was perfect, great location clean and had almost everything we needed!
Noel
Cottage was clean, well equipped and in a good location. Just to note the 2 single beds are on the small side but perfectly fine for children or small adults. Plenty to do in and around Whitby & if returning would be happy to stay at the explorers retreat again.
Edward
A wonderful cottage, clean, comfortable and cosy! It's location is perfect, close to all of the pleasures of wonderful Whitby but still peaceful. The additional bedroom and downstairs bathroom are an absolute boon! Being able to park two cars is likewise a huge help in Whitby. Also the outside seating is very good! Hopefully we will be able to return next year!
Sheila

Owen
Our stay at Explorers Retreat was really lovely, the property was clean, spacious and perfectly situated. The bench outside was a really nice place to sit and chill in the early mornings and evenings and the location was just perfect for being so near to Whitby beach and also to the playground in the park which our kids loved. So few holiday properties have freezers too but this one did which was a welcome surprise! Thank you for a lovely stay, it was a home from home for a week!
Catherine
